REMINDER: Final Exam Policy
Faculty Senate Policy requires that instructors provide some evaluative method of bringing a course into focus during finals week, (the 11th week of the academic quarter) according to the published schedule of final exams. This policy requires that the faculty member respect the published final exam schedule, that is, the faculty member should be present during the 11th week to accept the student final exam, paper or project. If for some reason the faculty member cannot be present, all attempts should be made to provide the class with an appropriate proctor to receive the final exam/project. All exceptions to this policy must be approved by the chair and the dean's office.
This policy does not preclude individual faculty from making exceptions to the final exam date for individual students. Faculty Senate Handbook policy can be accessed at http://www.cas.ohiou.edu/facultystaff/guidelines/FinalExamPolicy.pdf
