Graduation Checks

Admittedly the requirements for the BA and BS degree can be confusing! We recommend that because it is the student's responsibility to see that all requirements are met, it is a good idea for A&S students to schedule a graduation check during their junior year and then a final graduation check their senior year. A graduation check is a one-on-one meeting with an advisor in the office of undergraduate student affairs. Students and advisors will carefully review the Degree Audit Report (DARS) and each requirement that is unmet will be noted. Students and advisors will discuss how and when these requirements will be completed. A graduation check will allow students to see if they are on track for timely graduation and help them take necessary steps to ensure degree completion. Students may schedule a graduation check by calling the office at 740-593-2845. Regional campus students should contact their student services counselor.
