The Scholarship Game - How to Get Your Share
The cost of a college education keeps increasing, and it's not just rising tuition. Books, housing, meals, lab fees - everything's going up, up, up!
You're working hard for your grades, right? Why not try to find ways to cash in on your academic success?

Be prepared for competition!
(A 4.00 trumps a 3.40. Top GPA's receive first consideration for available $$'s)
Take enough credits at Ohio University every fall and winter to earn at least 32 credits. For a Dean's scholarship you will need a minimum 3.40 GPA and, at the time of review, must be enrolled in 16 credits hours for spring quarter.
Start early! Begin in January. Deadlines tend to be February or March.
Even if you think you don't meet the criteria for OU Dean's scholarships, apply anyway. You may qualify for other OU based opportunities, including corporate or endowed scholarships restricted by locality, major, or other special criteria.
