DARS Pick-up Procedures – Winter 2010 registration

*All Freshman and Probation Students Will Be Required To Meet With Their Advisor

Click on My Registration & Advising Info and follow the instructions. 

You must have you Oak ID & Oak Password to access your account information.

 

African American Studies:  Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.

 

Anthropology:             DARS Fest: Tuesday, October 20 from 5:00-7:00 pm in 236 Bentley Hall.  If students do not pick their DARS up at DARS Fest, they will be available in the main office (Bentley Annex 162) for 3 days after the DARS Fest.  Following that, they will go back to advisors.

 

Biology:                        Students are required to meet with their academic advisor.  Advisors will either post sign-up sheets on their office doors or students can email them to arrange appointments.

 

Chemistry:                   Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.  Sign up sheets are posted on advisors’ doors.  Advisor assignments are posted on the bulletin board outside the department office, Clippinger 136.

 

Classics:                        Students should pick up their DARS from their advisor. If there is a problem with this, contact the department office in Ellis 210.  

 

Computer Science:      Students should pick up their DARS from their advisors. Sign up sheets are posted on advisors’ doors.  Students can find their advisor by contacting Sandi Mathews (740-593-4672), or online at              http://pages.ohio.edu/registrar/prereg_advising.cfm

 

Economics:                   Students need to see their advisor.

 

English:                        Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor. 

 

Environmental/         Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.

Plant Biology:                

  

Geography:                    Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.

If students do not know who their advisor is they can check their DARS online at http://www.ohio.edu/registrar/prereg_advising.cfm.

 

Geological Sciences:  Students will get their DARS from their advisor. Advisors will post sheets on their doors to set up appointments with the students.

 

History:                      DARS fest in 402 Bentley Hall Annex on Tuesday, October 20 from 2:00-5:30 pm.  After that, students should schedule an appointment with their advisor.   

 

International Studies:  DARS Fest Monday, October 26 12:00-2:00 pm in Yamada downstairs seminar room.  For individual appointments: Ms. Schaeffers’ students may schedule an appointment by calling 740-593-1840, Dr. Suzuki’s students may email him at suzuki@ohio.edu.  If students do not pick up their DARS at DARS Fest, they will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.

 

Linguistics:                   DARS Fest Thursday, October 22 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm in Gordy 113.  After DARS Fest, students must sign up for an appointment with Dr. David Bell in Gordy 369.  Sign up sheets will be posted on his office door. 

 

Mathematics:                Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.

 

 

Modern Languages:   Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.  If students forget who their advisor is, they should see Heather Pittman` in Gordy 283, or check online at http://www.ohio.edu/registrar/prereg_advising.cfm.                 

 

OPIE:                               DARS reports are distributed in class by the advisor.

 

Philosophy:                    Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.  Advisors email students about how they can pick up their DARS.  If there are any questions, please call the department at 740-593-4588.

 

Physics/Astronomy:       Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.  For advisor assignment information, contact the department office, Clippinger 251C or 269C or check online.

 

Political Science:          DARS Fest: Wednesday, October 21 from 1:00-3:00 pm in Bentley Annex 268.  If students do not pick up their DARS at DARS Fest, they will be available in the main office (Bentley Annex 266).

 

Psychology:                Freshman DARS Fest: Tuesday, October 20 at 6:00-8:00 pm in Porter 103. All other students may pick up their DARS beginning Tuesday, October 19 in Porter 200, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am-12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm-5:00 pm.  I.D. is required.

 

Social Work:              Students must email their advisor to set up an appointment for advising and to pick up their DARS. If students do not know who their advisor is, or are having difficulty contacting the advisor, they should email or call Anne Sparks (sparksa@ohio.edu or phone: 593-9773).

 

Sociology:                  DARS Fest: Thursday, October 22 from 2:00-4:00 pm in Bentley Annex 102.  If students do not pick up their DARS at DARS Fest, they will be available in the main office (Bentley Annex 162).  Following that, they will go back to advisors.

 

 

Theatre:                         Pick up your DARS in Kantner Hall room 010 during office hours.

 

Undecided:                     Students will need to schedule an appointment with their advisor.

 

Women’s Studies:        Students should see Lynette Peck Tuesdays 1:00-3:00 pm or by appointment in 005 Lindley Hall.
